Terms & Conditions

By booking any activity, tour, transfer, or service through Cheneso Safaris Adventures ("Cheneso," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with a booking. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and Cheneso Safaris Adventures.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, or have authorisation from a parent or legal guardian. By booking on behalf of others, you confirm that all participants have been informed of and accept these terms. A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received and a confirmation email issued by our team.

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are valid for 30 days from quotation. A deposit secures your reservation, with the balance due before departure as stated in your confirmation. We reserve the right to adjust prices for unforeseen changes in park fees, taxes, or fuel costs; any such change will be communicated before final payment. Cancellation and refund terms are governed by our published Booking Policy. By booking you acknowledge those terms, including that cancellations within 7 days of departure are non-refundable and that third-party fees (such as park entry) paid on your behalf are not recoverable.

You agree to follow the lawful instructions of our guides at all times, to respect wildlife and local communities, and to comply with all Zimbabwean laws and park regulations. We reserve the right to terminate any activity without refund if a participant's conduct endangers themselves, others, wildlife, or the environment.

Safari, river, and adventure activities carry inherent risks, including injury or death. By participating, you freely and knowingly assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen. You confirm you are physically fit to take part and have disclosed any medical conditions that may affect your participation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cheneso Safaris Adventures, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from your participation in our activities, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and activity participation is mandatory for all multi-day and adventure bookings. You must carry proof of cover and provide it on request. We are not responsible for any uninsured loss.

We collect and process your personal data solely to operate your booking and provide our services. We do not sell your data. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, pandemics, or governmental action. In such cases we will offer rescheduling or, where possible, a credit toward a future booking.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any dispute arising from your booking shall first be referred to us in writing for amicable resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
